Kebab (Russian translation - Shashlik) cooks different by different cooks. As though, this is not professionally cooked Kebab by my husband but it tastes very good! We loved this recipe and enjoyed it with our family.

Ingridients:

  • 2 large onion (finely chopped)
  • 2-3 t.spoon salt
  • 1 and 1/2 ground black pepper
  • 1 t.spoon coriander seed (ground)
  • 2 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs

mix well ground beef and chopped onion

stir in spices,

and add breadcrumbs

mix well

add egg..

and final mix.

in the next step, take about 1 cup of mix and then repeatedly (15-20 times) slam it into a bowl

freez it for 1 hour

after an hour kebab by pressing the minced meat around a flat skewer for kebab,

for about 4-5 inches in length...

Put kebabs on baking sheet and, if you
have time, chill 30 minutes to let firm up meat.

Roast lyulakebab on red charcoal in a brazier repeatedly turning them about 5 to 8 minuts.

Homemade Plum jam

Very easy way to make a jam. There is no corn syrup or gelatin in it. All natural ingredients.

We need:

  • Plum (blended)
  • Sugar (1 cup sugar for each 2 cups of blended plum)
  • Steamed jars and tin covers
  • Sous  pan
  • Blender
  • 40-50 minutes
Directions:

Wash the plums and separate stones from them.

Blend it

looks awful I know:))

pour it into souspan, add sugar (in the picture 4 cups of blended plum and 2 cups of sugar)

mix in a high heat,  until sugar is melted. Reduce the heat to medium and cook for 10 minutes

simmer another 10 minutes

while the jam is simmering you can sterilize the jars.
How do I usually do it?
Steam each jar 2-3 minutes. And place your lids in a bowl and pour hot water over them.

Jam is ready to can.

fill the sterilized jars with jam...

place them upside down until it cools down completely.

My jars were used jars that's why i made my own labels:))
